So you can relax and prepare everything at the launch site. Activate the launch detection and the vario will remain silent at the launch site and only start beeping once you're airborne.
The Nano Vario automatically switches off if you happen to forget it. If the device gets jammed or the battery is running low, it will issue a timely warning.
